Construction of an oil extraction plant has begun in North Kazakhstan region

That was announced by the akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov on his page in social networks. ⠀

"The construction of a new oil extraction plant has been started in North Kazakhstan region. The new enterprise will be able to process 370 thousand tons of oilseeds per year. “Maslodel” LLP invests 15 billion tenge in it. Over 200 permanent jobs will be created," — the head of the region wrote.

The oil plant will be provided with a sufficient amount of raw materials, since North Kazakhstan region is the country’s leader in the production of oilseeds. 1 million hectares are sown annually, this is one third of all areas in the republic. ⠀

"By launching the new plant, we will be able to process a large share of oilseeds in the region. Also, the enterprise will receive high-protein feed additives: cake and meal, which are now imported from other regions," — Kumar Aksakalov added.
