Industrial and special economic zones

By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 11, 2019 No. 758, a new special economic zone "Qyzyljar" was created. 

Special economic zone "Qyzyljar" (hereinafter - SEZ "Qyzyljar") is located within the territorial border of the city of Petropavlovsk. 

SEZ "Qyzyljar" was created in order to:

  1. accelerated development of the city of Petropavlovsk;
  2. accelerated development of the region to activate the entry of the republic's economy into the system of world economic relations, create highly efficient, including high-tech and competitive industries, master the production of new types of products, attract investment, improve the legal norms of market relations, introduce modern methods of management and management, as well as solutions social problems.

Activities on the territory of the SEZ "Qyzyljar"

  1. food production and processing;
  2. production of building materials and furniture;
  3. manufacture of electronics and electrical equipment products;
  4. manufacture of mechanical engineering products;
  5. construction of a multidisciplinary hospital;
  6. activities of general hospitals and specialized hospitals. 

 Types of benefits and preferences provided in the SEZ "Qyzyljar"

  • Corporate income tax (CIT) - reduction by 100%
  • Land tax - coefficient 0
  • Property tax - rate 0%
  • Exemption from customs duties on raw materials and equipment when imported into the territory of the SEZ
  • Payment for the use of a land plot - coefficient 0 for the period of validity of the SEZ
  • Availability of ready-made infrastructure
  • OTHER BENEFITS: simplified procedure for hiring foreign labor

 How to become a member of the SEZ "Qyzyljar"

  • To develop a feasibility study for a project to carry out activities as a participant in the territory of a special economic zone
  • Apply to "UK SEZ" Qyzyljar" LLP 
  • To conclude an agreement on the implementation of activities with "UK SEZ" Qyzyljar" LLP
  • Possess cash, other financial instruments, in the amount corresponding to the feasibility study:
    • money;
    • bank guarantee;
    • surety;
    • pledge of property;
    • insurance contract.
