From now on, auctions for sale of land will be held in Petropavlovsk. That was announced by the akim of North Kazakhstan region at an expanded meeting of the board of agricultural block administrations. For many years, land auctions have not been conducted. Because of this, there is a shortage of free land in the city now.

«There is not a single free piece of land in the city. Investors could not find vacant lots. All sold 10 years ago, without an auction. They came and took. Now, all sales will be only through auctions, in an open form. Then there must be a clear assignment of the land. The master of a land lot, after a certain time, must build an object there. I he does not build, you need to regain the land. We need such a clear mechanism», — the head of the region stressed.

Sale of land should not infringe the interests of citizens, the head of the region noted.

«In places where people rest, you cannot sell land. For example, we managed to sell the land along the street of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, where the park zone, people are resting. Now they come, ask us to give them a permission to build a dwelling house. This would block all pedestrian areas. How could such a decision be made?» — Kumar Aksakalov was indignant.

Task number 1 for the head of the land relations department Yerbolat Bekshenov is to begin the procedures for regaining of agricultural land. This applies to those farms that do not work well with the land.

«These farms do not want to work, they do not let others work. They do not pay their salaries. Do not bring fertilizers, technology does not comply. Because of this people suffer. There should be less and less such land users every year. The law allows you to carry out this work. I specifically appointed you to this post, so that you finally implemented these issues», — Kumar Aksakalov concluded.

We recall that 188 thousand hectares of land were returned to state property in the region last year.
